In 2020 Mark led his close group of friends on a £10k charity fundraiser for Clara Rogers.
Clara suffered Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy when she was born which led to a lack of oxygen and blood going to her brain.
It meant Clara couldn't breathe on her own due to her organs failing – with the girl also suffering a severe brain injury due to the condition.
She needs CME therapy – a dynamic technique used in physical and occupational therapy – which will help improve her motor skills, speech and feeding.
It led to Mark and his friends taking on the ambitious challenge to send the girl to the Neurological and Physical Abilitation (NAPA) Centre in America for treatment.
The group walked to football stadiums across the West Midlands stopping off at Molineux, Banks's Stadium, The Hawthorns, Villa Park and St Andrews during their seven-and-a-half hour challenge.
In October 2023 Mark hosted a charity pub quiz in aid of Jesse Small, a three-year-old boy who has a rare form of cancer.
Wolves football memorabilia was also up for grabs in an auction.
The event, which raised £5,100. Around 100 people entered the quiz which raised money to fund a very special holiday for Jesse and his family.
Mark hosted a successful charity night in December 2024 attended by two local reality TV stars which raised thousands for charity and seen some very special prizes handed out.
Andy Pearce and his daughter Issy - who featured in the popular show My Mum, Your Dad - were among the guests at the charity night.
One of Mark's friend’s daughters was recently in the children's ward at New Cross and he could see the televisions and other items were in need of replacement. A good friend and I set about raising funds to improve the environment for the children being treated on the ward.
Mark also organised a darts night and pool tournament at the same venue to raise money for the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.
"The quiz night was a tremendous success, as were the darts and pool tournaments also held. We set a target of £2,500 and the total raised came in at £4,500."
